Somebody posted a picture of the bottle and I recognized it. I have a bottle that expired in January and I don't remember where or why or how I got it. It's for cats. I have 10 pills in it and would like to use it up. What does it do?

Thanks. I don't think Chloe's got neuropathy, but I'll give them to her anyway. They're probably not as effective since they're expired.
It's probably fine. Mine doesn't have neuropathy either but I give her b vitamins because she has ckd and they tend to pee out their vitamins and could use extra. You could split them in half since she doesn't need it for neuropathy.

No, I was wrong. This morning when I took the leftover food out of the fridge to put it in a bowl, there it was. At least by then, it was soggy enough to completely mix into the food. I'm thinking maybe to put the pill in a small glass with a bit of water, then, if it dissolves, pour it over the food.

Try splitting the pill in two. Take one half and put it between two small sheets of greaseproof paper (or printer paper), then try rolling over the paper-pill sandwich with a small jar or rolling pin to crush it. Once crushed put it in the empty food bowl and mix with a couple of teaspoons of water. (Normally methylcobalamin dissolves extremely easily in water.) Then mix the B12 solution with food.

OK the way I use to do it:
Open bottle take tablet out replace lid.
Place tablet in a small paper bowl (like the picnic ones).
Take bottle turn upside down.
crush tablet with lid of bottle.
They crush rather easily this way.

Hope this helps
