Hello,
Have taken this opportunity to remove all carbs from little Lulu's food. Giving the poor girl a day off from BG testing as ears seem sore. I rubbed them with coconut oil this morning and will do again during the middle of the day. Was planning to reduce her dose to 2 units for the PM shot unless her BG tells me otherwise. Would appreciate dose advice? Thanks
 
That was wise in my opinion. The food change has helped a lot. When you get a chance add that you just removed dry to your signature. What method are you planning to follow or have you not decided?

Ta, have updated signature. Vyktors mum (Serryn) has been holding my hand throughout this whole experience, amazing woman! We're still working Lulu out, when we think she's going to go one way she does the opposite lol we were working towards removing her dry food and today was the day for that. I'll see what happens at PMPS and go from there. In short still undecided on method.
 
I'm glad you skipped this morning. You've been coming down the dosing scale fast due to the food changes, but the larger depot could still be influencing the cycles. It takes 4-6 cycles after a reduction for the larger depot to deplete. The skip should speed that up.
 
PMPS was 436, yucky but not surprising. Given that we’ve taken the skip opportunity to totally get rid of the diabetic dry (1/4 cup 2x day) we’ve gone with 2u tonight. At this stage of the dance for Rita and Lulu I think it would be better to chance having to go back up in dose than to be chasing low numbers, (she was getting pretty difficult to test last night), and given that we’ve just dropped more carbs than than the previous diet changes we may yet find that 2U is still too much. Lulu will tell us in due course ...

@tiffmaxee - we’re going to try TR - shhhhh don’t tell Rita I’m not sure I’ve quite convinced her yet ;) :joyful: My mum logged on today and saw Max’s pic and thought it was Vyktor - how gorgeous were our boys :bighug:

@Red & Rover (GA) thanks for your quick response this morning, we’re not quite there yet for even thinking about shooting a number like that but you gave me a great opportunity to explain stalling to Rita :cat:
