468 AMPS but I haven't dosed him yet. They woke me earlier than normal. Cooler weather.
All is well. I have tennis today so hopefully he'll be stable.

I did buy some travel items in case I ever need to take him with me. Hopefully that will not happen.

Thanks for all the help yesterday deciphering the BG curves. Mogs, you were amazing.

Oh, I wanted to add one thing...Blue is stopped up this morning. I'm wondering if he just has allergies. I don't know. :banghead:

Ha ha his nose. He's sniffling and sounds congested.

I can test +3 before I leave. I already gave his .5 dose. No, on popping back to test. It's an away match.

I'm still not playing. Just supporting my friends and team. If he's very low I of course wouldn't leave him.

I have a cat stroller and bought a travel litter box just in case I have to take him. I'd rather not because he doesn't like the car. I don't want to stress him.

I hope the different antibiotic will help clear up Blue's sniffles. (((Blue)))

Sounds so cool! :cool:

Any pictures? Some time when you're not so busy I'd love to hear what you think of the stroller. I worry about ever having to get Lúnasa to the vets in an emergency. There's no taxi service here at night and I've thought about a stroller for her.

Here's the new travel litter box. I used to take my cats to the lake. We had a cabin. I used a small square litter box but this one zips which I like.

I've had the stroller for several years. I bought it for my larger cats that we're hard to carry into the vet. I didn't realize the compartment didn't come off the stroller part and therefore it didn't fit into my car. If you purchase one try one that has a cat carrier that’s detachable.

Here's another item I got just in case. I don't keep collars on my cats and they're indoor only. If I had to transfer from carrier to stroller I wanted a secure way to do that.

I think that's all is need.

I'm still home. Afraid to leave. I'm feeding him some low carb food. I could go for the first match and then come home. I just worry because looking at the spreadsheet yesterday he was 241 and 3 hours later 52. I wouldn't mind taking him but since he just got out of the hospital I hate to stress him out.

My brother is downstairs with my mom so I could have him feed some MC food in an hour or so. Is anyone online to advise?

@Critter Mom
@tiffmaxee
@jt and trouble (GA)

I'm thinking I'll get my brother to feed him MC every hour and I'll come back early. I'm scared he might not eat being outside in a stroller. I don't want to take that chance.

That's some drop.

@tiffmaxee - Blue looks like he's clearing bounces really quickly now. Not sure where the depot's at after all the mucking around the vets did with dose, plus the antibiotics are in play. Thoughts?

That’s why if leaving I would give hc. Am I being too aggressive?

Pity they can't test.

Questions (just throwing ideas round here):

1. How long is the first match?

2. Would skipping the first match and going to a later one be an option?

Nope. I'd give HC too. Lots of things in flux.

My timing's good. Was about to sign off but popped along to check whether there were any updates first.

Well done, brother! :cool:

Did you enjoy your tennis, Patty? How did your team get on? And how are Blue's sniffles?

I’m glad that you went with the hc. It’s good to know that hc will bring Blue up and keep him safe. It will be interesting to see if it causes him to be a lot higher later or not. This will be helpful for the future as well. Has was the tennis?

Are you typing with your nose? :confused:

(Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm only messin'. :smuggrin:)

Got to love auto correct.

Tennis was good. I left early so don't know about the last matches. It was nice to get outside and be around people. Makes you forget there's a pandemic. Good thing and bad because you can get careless.

I was surprised Blue was that low. I'm thinking he'll go high later but seems I'm wrong a lot.

Mogs, get some rest. :bighug:

Elise, may the best team win. :)

I'll post later as I test and thanks for the help earlier. Good call on HC...you guys know your stuff!

We're just following Blue's lead. All the work you two have been putting in during the runs of lower numbers, seeing how Blue responds to different carb loads, are what guided the suggestions today.

I'm glad you enjoyed your tennis, Patty.

I feel for people in terms of needing to socially distance. Because of the PTSD, I have major problems with hypervigilance. I just can't let my guard down at all, and the effort it takes to maintain that level of alertness all the time is absolutely exhausting (part of why my fatigue issues are so bad). Now everyone needs to be more vigilant and I know how draining that is and it makes me sad. Humans are a social species and maintaining distance from one another is not our natural state. It's a tough ask for people - especially over such a long haul.

Yes, may the best team win. I have a football game to watch at the same time. I’m glad you had some fun, Patty.

49ers and Rams? That will be a good game. Wish I could see it but I'll be glued to the Braves. I already have my Braves shirt on. Are you a Rams fan? Falcons won their first game today. Finally!

I think I should check Blue again so I'll post results.

Got it...341 +6 food's finally kicking in.

I’m becoming a Rams fan. We didn’t have a team for years because they left LA. My dad never forgave them.
I was hoping the food wouldn’t kick in that much but it’s to be expected. So for now you know it works when you need to leave provided someone can keep feeding him

Yes, I couldn't believe it when they left. They'd been there forever.
Good to know he can be safe if I have to be out. If he hadn't been sniffling I probably would have taken him with me.

Almost game time. I assume you'll be going back and forth to watch both. Enjoy! Sorry just had to...

It’s the carbs. He will come down, possibly tonight.
I’m watching the baseball game. It’s too good. Both teams deserve to win.

458 +2

Great game. Hate losing but Dodgers came back and got to give them credit.
Longest game ever though.

I guess I can go to bed since BG went up instead of down. See you tomorrow.
