PMPS +2 = 511

I apologize If I used the incorrect tag, but I just tested Diesel +2 from PMPS and he is at 511
Definitely need some advice on this one!! Thank you!
 
Any chance that Diesel got into contraband higher carb food?

Any chance it was a fur shot? Did you notice any wetness at the injection site when you gave the insulin?

Any history of ketones?

I believe the advice from Elizabeth was to wait out the high numbers. There's nothing you can do about a high number tonight. Do NOT give more insulin.

Take advantage and get some sleep.

The 911 is used mainly for low number situations. Seeing a 911 makes everyone's heart skip and leap. Can you take it down please?

Hi thanks for the reply I know its late ): Also my computer is taking a while to load the site.
Thanks for telling me I took the tag down.
Definitely not got into higher carb food...I don't have any more dry and I have the higher carb wet food separated from the lower carb.
After every time I give him I shot I do check the fur and it wasn't wet.
No aware history of ketones, I need to get the test strips.

One more request, I'm afraid.
Can you change the title and get rid of the "GA"? It means Guardian Angel or Gone Ahead, though some folks have been known to think it meant Georgia.

Get some sleep. There will come nights when sleep is a luxury. You are doing a great job so far. :bighug:

Oh yes I’m sorry. I just saw y’all’s post. I thought it meant like a general question and I thought Georgia too cause your name. Gosh Thank you guys! :banghead::bighug:
 
So far so good! It looks like he's clearing that "bounce" from last night ... red and black numbers (numbers over 400) often are indicative of bouncing. Bouncing is a phenomenon that occurs when the BG drops too much or too fast. The numbers are dropping off so that reflects "clearing a bounce". If he is over 200 give 0.5 units as usual. Is Diesel feeling alright aside from not being too hungry?

Thanks Elizabeth! Appreciate the help. Yeah pretty much like he’ll eat but only a few bites and he’ll walk away. Normally he’ll eat all his food. But he’s playing around just fine. I feel like today he’s been really good personality wise. He’s even cleaning himself more
