so Tiger has just been reduced down to 0.125 units of Basaglar and his numbers are slightly higher in the 80s and 90s than they were at 0.25 dose. Are 80s and 90s still good numbers to go otj in a week or so or should he remain on this dose?

If she stays green for a week with a few around 100, count the number of drops in your.125 and see if it’s worth giving half of tgat or going to an OTJ Trial. You are so close . :D

I've never thought of counting drops. To be honest I'm not certain how much he actually gets. I'm guessing since there are no marks less than .5. So you fill where you think you should be and count drops till it's empty?
I wasn't sure what numbers he should be at with no insulin to actually be considered fully making his own.

If you decide to go for it I will send you the OTJ trial guidelines. In a nutshell, you start on a green amps. You test twice a day at AMPS and PMPS and otherwise feed normally. If you get a blue number over 109, feed and test in 3 hours to see if the bg comes down. After two weeks in normal numbers we have a party. The occasional blue number is not a concern. Google OTJ trials and look at some of the spreadsheets. Paola’s Blaze and Kyle’s Simon recently finished theirs. Good luck.

I measured from the point I've been dosing and I barely get 2 drops till it's gone. If I cut that in half that would only make 1 drop maybe. Is it safe to say I haven't been giving him enough insulin to matter and i should start the Otj trial?
