Just a quick question, Henri has to go in for an abdominal ultrasound in about a week. I'm going to leave a note for them to put in her chart that there is to 1. be no anesthesia and 2. They are to give her no medication...Insulin included. I have had quite a bit of bad experiences at the vet (and she will be getting this done at the ER vet hospital) where there are lots of miscommunications. It also seems that if you don't know the right questions to ask and you cant predetermine what the vets are thinking or going to do, bad things can happen because they (the vets) assume you know certain things. It's almost like you have to be your own vet with medical knowledge and experience. That being said, in addition to the no anesthesia and no medications, can you al think of anything specific I should ask or have them put in her chart before having her admitted for the abdominal ultrasound?
Oh...and bc of the many miscommunications, I am going to have a note with those 2 things written and attached to the outside of her carrier as well as having them add it in her chart and email me a copy with the info so I can make sure it's there. I have already been given lots of misinformation from this front desk as well as contradictory information from the the different vets that are there. It is slightly comforting to know that the actual vet who is doing the ultrasound, is a specialist who comes into the facility and is not part of the group where I have been dealing with the miscommunications.
My other question is should I be concerned how this might affect her BG reading? She will be waiting in the car with me until they bring her in bc I feel like it will be a lot less stressful for her to be with me than to be sitting in a strange place, in a cage for half the day.

Per OTJ instructions, grab a +3 or 4.
