Peeka 10/9

Hey y'all,

Not much happening on our front today. Peeka and her walk are continuing to be hit or miss, she is still walking on her hocks a lot and sometimes dragging out her back legs a little bit to the side, similar to Tootsie video, but she is still walking a little bit faster, if that makes sense. We are starting to see more signs of her normal cat behavior. I was woken up at 3 am to Peeka chewing on some loose paper near our night stand. Something my wife and I commented that we haven't seen in some time.

Other than that, not much is going on, and for that I'm thankful. Normal bowel movements from Peeka, healthy appetite, rolling around on our clothes and shoes. She's been sleeping with her paws in the air more recently, may not sound like much, but she had been sleeping on her side a lot during this process.

Ok I'm thinking you need to get Peeksa blood tested for Potassium levels. smh I know her numbers are perfect but they arent THAT bad either. (((((Peeka)))))

's been sleeping with her paws in the air more recently, may not sound like much,

For cats with a natural tendency to sleep like that, it's a big thing Peter. My Lúnasa's the same. If she's feeling off she tends to sleep more 'balled up'. I know she's feeling better in herself when she starts sleeping with her paws in the air. You can see in their bodies and in their little faces that they're more comfortable, more relaxed, more peaceful.

Great to hear Peeka's eating well.

She's not wobbling over or falling or anything, it's not dissimilar to her normal neuropathy walking. Just an observation of her current walking state.

I was not aware of this! That's definitely encouraging to hear. Especially when I sneak up on her and give her little belly rubs, you can hear her purring throughout the house. Thanks for the information! Boo will sometimes sleep like that also, other times he sleeps all twisted and sideways, it makes me wonder what he's dreaming about, looking like a strung out pretzel.
