Question - last night Charlie's BG went up slightly (or stayed flat considering 20% variance) rather than going down at my checks at +1.5 & +2. Is that an indicator that I probably gave him an empty shot? At .1 it's possible there was an air bubble or something in the tip even though I always overfill and shoot some out to try to eliminate bubbles.

Since it went up rather than down after eating, does this also mean that his pancreas isn't working yet and we still have a ways to go before possible remission?

Thanks.

Too soon to say. It just might not be an active cycle. It might mean he didn’t get the same amount of juice. It might also mean he wasn’t ready for the reduction. The depot is gone. Time will tell.

In other words, be patient and don't worry, right!?! Gah. It's hard not to analyze every cough sneeze, and change to BG levels! :banghead:

Ah yes, I see...I see some great numbers. Now you will have to wear those patience pants that we're all so fond of.

You've got nice numbers, now you just have to wait for those beta cells to replenish and restore themselves...that's the road to remission...just hang on...could take a while...

In the meantime, you're doing a great job! Have a great day Julie and Mr. Beautiful Charlie in the blue box :) Love that pic!
