So I'm thinking of taking Bandit for her first dental ever and I'm really scared about the general anaesthesia.
A vet I spoke to here, said that a blood panel (complete blood count, kidney function & liver function) was sufficient to assess whether Bandit was well enough to handle GA. Another one said they would need chest x-rays and an ECG too.
I don't know anyone here in Mumbai whose cats have undergone dental cleaning/surgery. Which makes me even more nervous!
Would appreciate if I could get some idea of what tests we should get done and what red flags we should look for?
