10/05 Milo AMPS 122

Good morning! I have been too overwhelmed to post but both kitties seem to be in pretty good shape. My vet wants Milo to take an "insulin break" because it freaked him out that he "dropped" to 65 while at the clinic for the day. He's worries that he's on too high an insulin dose and possibly his potassium is low because he sat wit his head down for the day. I skinnied his dose, just to show the vet what happens and sure enough, he went up higher than he has been. I asked if I can supplement the potassium and he gave me a multivitamin. I also asked for an appetite stimulant for when he's not interested in eating. I gave a small dose a couple of times and he's eating a bit better now.

You can supplement with human potassium. Now brand makes it in powder form and I just added it to the food. Tanyas CRF gives the amounts to use.

Where would I find this? I’m not sure what the CRF is. Not good with acronyms!!
