Sorry I didn't get back to you till now (had to attend to the Noodle).D

Did you feed anything after the 135, Patty?

If not, I'd suggest giving him a couple of teaspoons of medium carb to slow him down a bit and test again in 30 mins. This OK with you?

The Noodle's a bit out of sorts because I had to start her back on antibiotics again a couple of days ago and she's not been eating enough as a consequence. Poor thing threw up earlier due to gastric hyperacidity. I gave her a dose of famotidine to help with that.

I'm also juggling side effects of different meds (amlodipine elevating heart rate, Kesium (same as Clavamox) lowering blood pressure but not keeping it down, trouble giving cyproheptadine appy stimulant because it also elevates her heart rate). I wouldn't know any of this were it not for the fact that I can check her BP and resting heart rate at home (bit like monitoring blood glucose levels at the moment).

At the moment, every day is one long pill-fest. Poor creatĂşir. (((Noodle)))

That's nice!

I'd suggest feeding Blue a couple of teaspoons of medium carb food now (no honey this time) and testing again in 30 minutes. I think Blue'd probably be OK for an hour BUT I'm trying to help you find out the best things to feed at which point in the cycle. Also, he wasn't as bouncy after yesterday's AM cycle and his numbers were around the 100 mark +/- 20ish points so I'm trying to see if we can keep him around that range again today. Sound OK to you?

Good Morning Patty, I was just looking over here on Main Health to see if a new member had posted...will you be moving over to the Lantus forum soon? Looks like you've been here for quite a while - so many more folks on the Lantus forum with experience with just what you're going thru now...perhaps moving to that group would help you guys get more eyes on your situation?

Have a great day!
