Freeze dried treats

I give Molly quite a bit of these treats. Is there a possibly that it could raise her BG? I buy her the Pure Poultry
Crude protein 35%
Crude fat 30%
Crude Fibre 2%
Moisture 5%
I sprinkle them on her food

They do make freeze dried meat. No additives that would be better "Purebites" is a fave here. Bonita flakes is another.

She was eating the purebites but switched it. I attached a pic of her treats and the ingredients if you can see it. I see purbites has only one ingredient that's it chicken lol

I feel bad though I've been giving her those treats. For probably 2 months now. I tested her at lunch gave her a couple treats and tested half hour later her BG was up a little. Learned my lesson

Dont beat yourself too badly it might be those treats arent that high in carbs but when you can give 0 carbs well...?

You’d have to know what the carb content is and it’s not on the bag. Did you look on their website? Honestly, this is freeze dried chicken. The ingredient listed is chicken so I don’t really see how it can be bad. I’d also compare it to pure bites. You can probably get their content off of Chewy

The ingredients on the bag says chicken mixed with tocopherols. Manufactured at a facility that also processes milk, soy, fish,wheat egg etc..

Here’s Purebite chicken content. A lot more protein and a lot less fat. Also human grade

tocopherols says it's Vitamin E I googled it didn't sound too good to me. Thank you for responding I'm going to buy the purebites again. Molly is a cutie pie thank you

carb content is different than ingredients. Just like most cat foods don’t list carb content in the cans. Same with treats. You have to dig for it

I’d say they’re fine but not the best quality... pure bites is human grade. I’m curious also why the fat content is so much higher maybe because it’s not human grade...? I think we’re both right lol
