10/01 Amethyst PMPS 61 NS HOME THANK YOU!!!

This is wonderful news Pamela. Amethyst is one tough cat ❤️!! Continued thought and prayers for progress today so she can come home soon.....and stay home for awhile. You both need a LONG break!

Thanks for the update Pamela, we were all so worried yesterday :bighug::bighug::bighug:

If anybody is interested in helping Pamela & Amethyst, she has set up a gundfundme for Amethyst's eye surgery.
Hi Paul , I asked Pamela to PM me the Go Fund Me
I know all of us have bills to pay and a lot of expenses caring for our kitties, I am
barely getting by myself, but maybe if we all chip in, even if its only 5 or 10
dollars it would help Pamela. My heart just breaks for both of them.

Hi Diane. I PM'd you the link. I have shared on FB too which can only help, especially if all my friends on there also share...

Really great news. Thank you for the update. There is power in prayer!:)

I'm in the same boat. There's almost nothing left of hubby's check after our bills, care for our other fur babies, but especially now with Olive's care. It's eating us alive. But I'm also a firm believer that everyone can make a difference. Even $1 is a dollar closer than you were. I want to help. Can you PM me the info to your Go Fund Me page?

So so glad she made it! Pamela, have you applied for care credit or something like that? When we had a very expensive surgery for our dog, I got a credit card with zero interest for a year. It really helped me pay down the bill over time. I am really hoping there is a way to make this happen for your dear sweet Amethyst! She is a true hero and a survivor! :bighug:

What did they say was wrong? I'm happy she's okay. I got kicked off Facebook over a month ago. I tried to change my age because I was sick of getting all the Medicare and retirement spam. It's probably for the best.

I've never heard of cats getting asthma. What are the symptoms? I wonder if that's what Genghis had.
Amethyst was diagnosed when she was 2 years old I thought at first she was just sneezing ,but when I took her to the VET they did a chest xray and she had bad Asthma. Symptoms are coughing and wheezing and labored breathing You may want to see a vet ,because a chest Xray is needed to diagnose it Good Luck

Thanks, but I already put Genghis to sleep. He was constantly sneezing and shooting phlegm everywhere. Antibiotics didn't work. It doesn't sound like asthma. Vets couldn't figure out what it was.
