This morning is the third cycle of 1.375u. I'm waiting for Butters' depot to settle with the reduced dose. I'm not sure how long that takes, but am on the lookout for signs.

Last reduction, she wandered up to the blues for a little bit before coming back down (and I started to panic about a possible failed reduction:facepalm:). It will be interesting to see if this recent history repeats itself. :D

Have a great day!

Jax's beach report is that it's not so great. Stay in the lagoon :D Is it true that Butters allowed some sleep last night? <anti-jinx> Hope you and Butters have a wonderful day!

One thing to keep in mind, when pancreatic healing starts to happen, it can accelerate and you may find that you need those full reductions instead of just the skinny ones.
And today she demonstrates exactly what you said in my condo last night: based on her cycle today, I should have taken the full reduction yesterday morning.
I will further reduce tonight to 1.25u.

ETA: Reducing to 1.25u will bring me in line with the dose we'd be at had I taken a full reduction yesterday morning. And going forward, full reductions after one drop below 50.

So far today I have had to feed Butters a total of 4 tsps 21% and 3 tsps 16% thusfar.
I was trying to be conservative, too, thinking she was going to zoom up at any second. I should have been more heavy handed.

92 @AMPS Fed 2 tsp 2%
62 @+2.5 Fed 2 tsp 2%
38 @+4 Fed 1 tsp 21%
49 @+4.5 Fed 1 tsp 16%
50 @+5 Fed 1/2 tsp 21% (I'm expecting her to zoom up any second now)
54 @+5.5 Fed 1 tsp 2% (I'm expecting her to zoom up any second now)
50 @+6 Fed 1 tsp 16%
61 @+6.5 Fed 1/2 tsp 21%
49 @+7 Fed 1 tsp 21%
61 @+7.5 Fed 1 tsp 16%

Morning Lyla, keeping my fingers crossed that the lower dose sticks, do you hear us Butters :joyful:. Have a good day Lyla :bighug::cat:
I have a busy workweek but it has been fun to finally get back here to read the comments. I can tell you Diane that yep, it looks like the lower dose stuck. LOL.
Butters heard Wendy talking about the 0.25 decrease ;) You sure are a pro at keeping Butters safe :bighug:
I didn't feel like a pro today. Today was hard. Thank you though. :bighug:

I sure hope so.
104 @+1 makes me feel hopeful for a steady night. Butters has been an eating machine all day right through her +10. How could the paltry 1 tsp LC she got with insulin tonight suddenly cause big a food bump? This has to be the start of a bounce. Who knows, though.
New dose starting tonight: 1.25u, measurement of 1.88mm for my syringe type.

Jax's beach report is that it's not so great. Stay in the lagoon :D
LOL! I bet Jax told Butters that the beach was actually so much fun, she just couldn't stay away. I wonder what Butters said to Jax about the sharks she visited...;). anti-jinx.
