Coming up a bit at AMPS, but apparently he had some food at 6:30 am (+11.5), so some of that could be a food bump.

I presume the food was just after you tested for AMPS? If so, a follow up test most likely would indicate a food bump.

Nope, it was about a half hour before AMPS. (Whoops.) The autofeeder opens at about 4:30, and there was still some left at 6:30. Apparently he went back for more then. (I wasn't up yet, so I didn't see how much he got.) So far he's been so high overall that we haven't had to worry about any possibility of him being too low to shoot, so we haven't been too strict about fasting him for 2 hours preshot. Need to change that.

Still in the high 300s all day today... also forgot to note above that at AMPS ketones were 1.0.

Starting cycle 3 at 4.5 U; maybe he'll come down soon?

Not really. Once you have enough data to know how much of a bump he gets from food, then you can factor that in when deciding if the non food influenced preshot would be safe to shoot. The two hour fast recommendation is for new people who don’t have enough data on their cat yet.
