Started checking Rico's glucose

I recently started checking Rico's glucose at home. I used whatever I have. It's the CVS advantage glucometer. His readings have been between 200 and 250. Is that good or bad.

Well? Its within diabetic range But Ive seen worse numbers. Why dont you set up a spreadsheet so others can look at his progress?

Numbers in isolation don't mean much (unless they are very low). If you set up a spreadsheet as jt has suggested we will be able to help you.

Now another issue has started. I seen him purposely not use the litter box. He also is refusing to go go downstairs where the litter box and food is at.

Hes not using the LB for a reason. It either hurts him to"GO" so hes associating the LB with pain. Or hes developing neuropathy and its too hard to get into his box... could be why he isnt going down the stairs.

His glucose level today was 543. That was right before his insulin shot.

Every thing with insulin revolves around patterns. We CANT see a pattern if there is no spreadsheet.
