Good morning everyone!
Milo seems to be holding his own after the reduction to 1.75u. We had a string of greens last night after staying in the blues during the day. This morning he's rather blue but hoping he'll head down to some greens later in the cycle, as he seems to be having his nadir later than previously.
Have a great day everyone and safe surfing!

Milo's looking good, Sam! Beautiful surfing for him last night. It looks like you haven't been able to get much sleep, though. I hope you're doing okay!
Have a great night.
I was up a lot on Friday night! I’ve been so concerned about his nighttime lows. The new decrease might make that a bit more manageable. I fed him MC before heading to bed last night then got up three hours later to check on him and three hours after that for his shot. I’m sure it’ll get easier. I can’t do this through the work week but I thought I might get a better sense of his cycle on the weekend when I can go back to bed. I feel ok but will likely need to head to bed early tonight. Do you think I need to set an alarm for the middle of the night based on these numbers?? Of course I’ll test and see how he’s doing before turning in but if it looks like he last couple of nights, I’d be tempted to leave out some MC and try to sleep straight through.
Have a great night! I hope Butters is treating you right!

I had 600 strips arrive the same day about a week ago. I’m going to order more because I am concerned about the delay. I’ve already gone through quite a few.

I always order the minute I open the next new box - so I always have an unopened box in the back. As soon as that one is opened, I order a new box of 300. They haven't missed a beat since the beginning and I've never run out of strips since starting.

I'm glad your strips came in!

You'll know the answer to this when you get your pre-bed test...and perhaps one more if the numbers are not falling. If they're falling you'll need to set that nasty old alarm... sorry about that.

It will get easier :bighug:. I wonder if your biggest challenge is making sure Milo will eat? Butters is happy to eat as much MC and HC as I'm willing to fork over, but she sleeps right through the night so I have to wake up to wake her up and put her in front of the autofeeder.
You have to take care of yourself, too. So if you need to leave out some MC so that you can get some sleep (or adjust his insulin dose), then I personally think that's fine to do every so often. The important thing is you are making sure that Milo is going to be safe. As for whether you need to set an alarm....what Sue said! :)
