9/20 AMPS 551 +2 @332 after increasing to 2.5u

Thanks to @Chris & China (GA) for checking out our SS yesterday. Today, I increased to 2.5u and so far it looks better than what we were seeing. I know it's only one dose but I'll take a 332 two hours after shot. I'll update when we get a +4 today.

Don't freak out just yet....many times, for reason's nobody understands, the numbers go higher right after a dose increase. We call it "New Dose Wonkiness" (NDW)

You'd think "if I increase, the numbers should come down, right?"....unfortunately, we can't get our kitties to read the rules to this game.

Oh that's right! NDW. I forgot all about that. These darn kitties and their pancreas hopefully we will see some change in the next few cycles. Trying to switch him to 100% wet food.

so PMPS was weird...tested his left ear 401, odd since +5 he was at 467, so I tested the right ear 487. Tested myself 105. What the heck is going on here?

The 20% meter variance....personal meters are allowed a +/- 20% variance so the 401 could have been as high as 481 or as low as 320 and the 487 could be as low as 390 and as high as 584.

401 (320-481)
487 (390-584)

Lots of matching numbers in between those variables

Man, this sure does make things tough...I recorded the 487 since we only got one test at +5 which was the 467. Hope that was right?

Close enough, they are both over 400. Fortunately 20% is much closer in lower numbers where it's important.

Totally fine! When I got 2 (or sometimes 3) tests at the same time, I'd post the average but what's most important is knowing that Diago is high enough to safely get his insulin....which he obviously is using any of the numbers you got tonight!
