What do you mean you have lost everything? Your personal information?

Did you contact the police?

I'm sorry to hear about this Pamela...I hope you can get some help getting things secured! Sorry to hear Amethyst is having issues too...

Sending prayers your way! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

So sorry to hear this. I've had it happen to me last year. First thing after reporting it, is to change all passwords. Use a different email provider for financial accounts like credit cards, on line banking etc. And separate provider for general communication like here, surfing, facebook etc. Get all new credit and debit cards. Report to credit cards immediately so your not responsible. Most banks will refund if any monies were withdrawn electronically. If you order online or use computer to pay bills, always choose public computer option so they don't save your login info. Change security questions if allowed (some don't allow it). Make sure you virus/security software is up to date on all your devices (phone, tablet, desktop, laptop).

Probate attorney I'm using just had his hacked. I'm getting all kinds of garbage from his email.

Be very careful what emails you open. I found my was hacked through Facebook and my email. Credit Karma was the one who alerted me. I had everything locked for 2 weeks until things were replaced. Thank goodness I don't just use one bank for all accounts.

Co-worker had it happen to her. She had all accounts in one bank. Accounts were linked to each other. She was wiped clean. When she asked the banks how they allowed it, they said they thought it was her transferring the money because they knew she was going through a loan process for new house. Bank put all the money back in her account but it took time.

Good luck, I know it's stressful.

So sorry to hear this - Paula has great advice. The police report is often a skipped step and so important! I'd also file a report on identitytheft.gov and get identity monitoring (like creditkarma, lifelock, or something similar).

Prayers for good health and lots of patience to get through all this :bighug:

I am so sorry Pam, that is just awful. These people are relentless! I have three emails I use and 10 different passwords, 3 different passcodes and alerts up the wazoo for any banking transactions.

:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh no, so sorry to hear this Pamela. Hopefully everything will be resolved and the $ taken will be given back to you by the bank.

Prayers for you & Amethyst:bighug::bighug::bighug:

I am so sorry Pamela, I know how upset you are about Amethyst's eyes.
Like you needed this to happen
I hope you get your money back ASAP
There are a lot of low lives in this world.
I can't say what I wish on them because I would probably get thrown out of here
Hearing things like this really piss me off :bighug:
