Sorry, Nan - I realised when I re-read your message that you thought Maddie had had surgery. No, nothing worse than a shaved neck for her initial blood work!

Thanks, Mogs! She hasn't eaten much today (probably because the last 24 hours were very stressful), which has probably contributed to her low BG. I guess we'll see how things progress over the next day or so.
