Milo bounced rather than going low last night as I feared; I sure am glad I didn't skip the shot! I tested a few times to be on the safe side then to just see what he might do. I guess the depot is draining and we'll see how the reduction really affects him over the next while. Hopefully he clears this bounce and the dose is ok. No raw food this morning; thank goodness he likes the FF LC and I have a case of it with a couple more coming.
Have a good morning everyone. He had 2 T, which is a good feed for him.

PS Singha continues to eat well (raw diet with herring oil and probiotic), no vomiting and oral meds are going down easily now. A definite improvement all the way around.

I got more sleep this morning and at +3, Milo decided to come WAYYY down to blue! Still not eating much of the raw but snacking on FF LC... I'll take it.

I hid The Caninsulin ones but I’ll put them back if it’s better. I just didn’t think they were very relevant anymore and I was hoping the BG ranges would then stay at the top for human meters. But I couldn’t get it the way I wanted...

I’ll be watching Milo carefully. I thought he would stay higher than he is at the new dose but he’s a tricky one. I guess his pancreas likes the new dose perhaps???

So.... Milo has continued to plummet to 56 and is due for his shot in the next 15 mins. Obviously, I'm not shooting that low this late.... But what is happening??? New dose and he is still going LOW and he's never done this so late in the cycle. He didn't eat much late afternoon but that's not atypical. I can't stall for too long as it's already after 8pm here and I need his schedule to be more like 6am/6pm by next Monday for back to work...
I'll retest by 8:30 or so but what is happening here??? I can't stall longer than 9pm tonight...

I'd be inclined to skip. Let the depot drain a bit more.
And let you get back to your regular shot time all in one go.

You've done a couple 76's lately with good results. If you haven't fed, try another 10-15 minutes stall.

I think I will have to skip tonight. I was up throughout the night and I don’t think I can do two back-to-back. I have shot low but usually only when he’s low in the am when I’m awake to monitor. Thank you for the advice but I just don’t think I can do it again tonight...

Thanks. He only ate 1/2 tsp LC FF. I've left it out for the night for him. Thanks for all the help tonight. Hopefully he doesn't go too high in the night. We'll see what we have in the morning. Good night all!
