8/28 Catman.... Forgot to shoot at 8p and it's 9:30p, shot 3 at 9:45

I have a really bad working memory and fed the cat upstairs. The puppy got loose and I got distracted and upset and completely forgot about the insulin....

Now it's and 1½ hous late. What are my options?

You can give the shot now and work your way back to your chosen shot time by adjusting 15 minutes per cycle or 30 minutes per day.

If your shot schedule is flexible it's OK to go ahead and shoot

So 9:45 tonight, 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, 9:15 p.m. tomorrow night, 9:00 a.m. Sunday, 8:45 p.m. Sunday night, 8:30 a.m. Monday, 8:15 p.m. Monday night, and finally will be back to 8:00 a.m. Tuesday.

I did mention that this is hard right? It's even harder when you've got a 59-year-old brain that fails on you every once in awhile....

Wait.. I checked his BG at 8 then fed, then forgot to shoot, so when I shot at 9:45 I also tested but now that's not +2 anymore is it? It's more like a PMPS.... where does it go?

I'm all befuddled.

The time you actually shoot is always the Pre-Shot number so wherever he was when you shot is his PMPS

That way, the + cells all still correspond to the number of hours since the shot.

You'd put ### @ +13.75 in the PMPS cell which shows you shot 1 hour 45 minutes late
