So I caught a 43 @ +3.5, gave syrup and food. I’m not feeling well today and didn’t realize how much time had gone by and I knew she had eaten. She was on my belly purring and happy and I noticed it was way late and I should have tested her again. So now at +5.6 she tests at 36!!!
This girl never ever has outward hypo symptoms. She acts happy in the 30s!!
She’s fine, luckily. More syrup, more food. Will set testing alarms.
Someone on here once told me that with cancer you may sometimes see insulin needs drop dramatically. I wish I could remember who said it or when so I could go back and look. That’s all that even makes sense to me. This is why I skipped shooting some of her lower numbers lately. There have been plenty of times I have shot when she was around 70s or 80s and had no problems.
She did not get mirtazapine yesterday until late night, I think I’ll have to keep giving it for awhile to make sure her appetite stays normal.
