A pretty uneventful start to the day. I know it's good to be in the greens but it's so stressful when Milo starts the day that way! It's a good day to be out; I have time to get a +2 beforehand. Yesterday I picked up some *actual* LC FF food which he had for breakfast. He's just like me, Milo doesn't enjoy breakfast so good thing he'll eat this! After a while each day, it seems he transitions back to the raw.
Have a good day, all.

I could tell from the lower replies in your condo that Milo must've decided it was time for a day off from the low numbers. :)
It's okay to feel like you need a little break from the stress of all of the action. May as well enjoy the day; Milo will be back to greens soon enough and you will be back to helicopter parenting.:D:D

Well, Milo decided to be super exciting while I was away. I felt safe leaving him and left out LC and frozen raw food. He decided not to eat all day it seems so I gave him dinner and coerced him to eat. When I checked, he was only 63 at +10.75! Who knows what happened today while I was out. I am concerned now about dosing tonight. Perhaps I shouldn't have fed him? But I figured it was most important he eat seeing as he went on a hunger strike today. What to do tonight though? I will obviously test again in an hour but now I'll be dealing with a food bump (he would only eat LC pate, no raw). I need some opinions here from people more experienced than me...

Hey! Well... Milo felt like some excitement after all!

Hard to say until you get there, but at your +12 test, post where you are at, be prepared to hold food, stall and test again in 20 mins. Retag a few people and go from there. You'll be looking to see if there is a rising number.

If you post when you are 10 mins away from your +12, that will give people time to arrive to help, if they can.

Understood. I just got a bunch of new strips, a case of LC food, a case of MC food and I have some HC (22%) which he loves. I feel like I have the necessities (food and honey/maple syrup) but it's getting late. ike I said, he appears to be hungry now that he had a little dinner. I think he will continue to eat now. I'd like to shoot if I'm going to...
I can monitor overnight as I slept well last night.

Ok, well looks like you are stocked up. Let's see where +12 is. My hubby is making dinner for us tonight, so I'm hoping someone can come help guide you through your decision at shot time. It's only 6:30pm here so I can be here for moral support, if you do decide to shoot. @tiffmaxee are you around?

Just checking, did you feed Milo at +11.75?

I did not feed again at +11.75. It's +12 and he's still the same at 85. What to do...? I feel like I could shoot and feed him and try to keep him surfing through the evening then set my alarm to test during the night...

I'm not sure if @tiffmaxee is around, but if you are OK with it, you could stall 20 mins, test, and then make the decision? 85 is a safe number for TR though. What do you want to do?

Thank you. My concern was that the 85 might just have been a food bump because he hadn't eaten all day and then I coerced him to eat dinner late. This one is a new situation for me. Thanks for the advice I will test again in 45 mins (+1) and post. Hopefully he doesn't go ridiculously low overnight...

Me too. Lol. My iPad has a mind of it’s own. It said it would try and update tonight. I gave auto turned off. It’s updating! I hope it’s not a big update. I’m on my phone.

Milo didn’t really want to eat at first at +10.75 but I convinced him with a couple of teaspoons of LC. Then he wanted to eat again at +12. I let him have a tsp of raw but I am limiting food in case I need him to eat later to keep him from going too low.

I was thinking the same about a bounce but it’s Milo and he’s been on a roll. While I hated the bouncing it was nice t not have to keep testing.
