Yesterday I had my fingers crossed that I'd see some action last night. I got an overnight test and she was firmly in the high 200s.

It looks like Butters could still be bouncing from the green on the 18th. I hope she slides down today.

Yep, I agree with Carla...Butters is still enjoying a nice supply of glycogen from his liver storage...and it's taking a little while to get out of his system. That bounce cycle can last up to 6 days I understand (if I'm remembering that correctly...sometime the memory gets a little sketchy at my age! LOL)...

About the time I start thinking it's time for an increase Luci will pull that green number out of her furry coat and then it's all over...

I hope Butters will clear that bounce soon...in the meantime, relax and enjoy your day...never know, this could be the day it breaks

She's up 99pts in 2 hours! I was ready to not worry so much about the bounce. Now I start to worry about more glucose toxicity.

I believe I can safely say she will not be breaking her bounce today.

ETA: I meant to say "not be breaking her bounce this cycle"! I'll at least try to be optimistic that she could break tonight.

I just retested out of mere curiosity and got 286. I think that's just within normal BG meter variation readings. I thought there was a sticky somewhere that speaks to this, but can't find it. I'll find it somewhere.

Not that it really matters all that much. She's still higher at her +2. Why can't I be called into work today .

I dunno about that...with the meter variance of 20% that low pink could be a high yellow...so it's essentially the same number. Take a pokey break this morning...maybe catch one later today just to prepare yourself for a lower number at PMPS - fingers and paws crossed for that.

This stuff takes time...put on your patience pants and chillax...you can come do my work today

We did take a pokey break. May as well give Butters something nice out of this. I agree that the patience pants are pretty awesome. It feels like I'm amassing quite the collection...are you all trying to tell me something ? I'm not patient?

I am also sorry she didn't. And no blues/greens today, either. Not looking good for tonight. lol. I don't know if you remember Marje mentioning that Butters might kinda pfizzle out at the 1u. Maybe this is what's happening?
The personality change that comes with the high numbers is bugging me so much. I hope she doesn't pull a fast one again and mess up the increase that she could earn tomorrow night.

One more cycle of this fooling around and you can increase her...did I count 5? Maybe tomorrow morning?

I may have to do the same for Miss Luci...she's been fooling around now for a few cycles...I guess I'd better be getting to counting our cycles too...
