08/17 Mowgli AMPS 155

Hi all!! Just jumping in with a quick Mowgli update :) he’s looking really good still and currently on 0.25u. We were able to take him on another trip to but we just stayed in a hotel. Mowgli is getting much better at being in the car.

I started my new job A couple months ago and today is my first day on site.. of course I took the wrong bus:rolleyes:... luckily it sounds like there is a shuttle that will take me from where this bus goes into the mine so.... par for the course on a Monday. :banghead::coffee:

There's that handsome fellow! We've missed your pics! Congrats on the new job...sorry about the bus...always a challenge on the first day, huh?

So glad he's chill while driving...soon he'll be at the wheel. Luci is a total chill-cat while riding in the car. She likes to put her feet up in the carrier and sleeps all day...I'm so jealous!

Always great to see that gorgeous face :bighug:!! I love that he is becoming quite the traveler :cool:. I hope you caught that shuttle today and had a fabulous first day in the field :p.....and managed to find your way back!!!! Best to be lost on a street vs in a mine.....that is all I kept thinking when you said you were going into one!!

He always starts out stressed but he settles right in. He used to cry and pant but he didn’t pant once on this trip so it seems like an improvement... paws still sweating though so you know he’s a little anxious.

I got a senior geologist position at a different mine than the one I was working at before, I’m looking forward to a new challenge if I can ever figure out the bus schedule :oops:

Thanks JJ! Yeah and the end of the day when I missed the bus was the icing on the cake :rolleyes:

I’m hoping the more we travel the better he will get at it... by the drive home though he seemed ‘old hat’ ;)

I got where I needed to lol. Thankfully I had done some work in that mine as a contractor in my younger years so I have a very mild familiarity with the site. I wasn’t actually right in the mine though... no need to worry ;)

Amanda, that is HILARIOUS! Poor guy! He does look exactly like that emoji...LOL.

Wishing you better luck with the transportation at work today :)! It is a relief to hear that you know the mine so well! My only experience with a mine was a coal mine tour back in the day but that experience stuck in my head.
