It might be diet time for Monty :D

I've been letting him dictate how much he eats by giving bits of food whenever he asks but he's gone from 5.6kg to 5.8kg now.

He usually eats 4-6 trays of food a day, I might start limiting him to strictly 5 at the most. He should be 5.6 or 5.7kg.
 
In fact he's been eating more the last week, I wonder if that's why he left the green PS and entered low blue?
 
Not sure how big the trays are but have you tried dividing the portion into multiple snacks?

I'm not very keen on withholding food from diabetic cats. A regular, steady stream of high quality, low carb food helps regulate their blood glucose levels...

Sometimes it helps to spread it out a bit rather than allowing them to eat it all at one time...just something you might want to try.

I usually feed 1 tray after the AM test and inject while he's eating. After this I give a half tray whenever he asks for it, sometimes he won't ask for 3 hours and sometimes he asks immediately. I'll give 3 -5 half tray snacks throughout the cycle.
