Monty went lower than usual lower night and climbed rather quickly from 63 to 83 in 30 minutes. Is that a bounce or would a bounce be more dramatic?

I would call that just meter variance. Did he eat during that time?

He ate very little at regular feeding time (PM+0) until PM+3 so I boiled some chicken for him which he devoured. between +3 and +3.5.

That's probably why he went up a bit at +4

He gave me a fright today! Caught him panting in the corridor at +5 so rushed to test him. He was at a healthy BG so I'm thinking it was the heat we're having in London atm.

I've set him up with a fan in the corridor where he sleeps to keep him cool.
