? 8/9 Taco AMPS 424 Think I need some dosing advise

It's been a while since I've posted but I think I'm in need of some advice again. I've been trying to do this myself because I thought I had the hang of it but I'm feeling pretty insecure again. I think I may have unnecessarily upped his dose when he was at 5U and now it's just gotten crazy. He was doing so well there for a while. I know there is such a thing as giving them too much insulin and at this point IDK what to do.

I've also started giving him Methyl B12 because his back legs seem to be getting weaker.

I'm not in a position to give dosing advice and can not bring up your SS on my phone (my phone is the problem, not your SS ).

Yes I would have left the dose at 5 units a bit longer.
Then you maybe held the 5.5 dose too long (8 days) otherwise I can't see too much you aren't doing right.
Try and get tests in every pm cycle and if the +2 or +3 is lower than the preshot, get another test in to see if he's dropping lower.

Yesterday he got a 69 and 78 in the am cycle so you need to hold the dose for a few days yet to see if he drops into green again.
If I were you I would post every day for a while so we can get to know Taco's numbers.
Are you giving him snacks during the day and night as well as before the shots?

Yes, I do need to start posting everyday again. I was pretty good in the beginning.
Taco eats about 2.5 - 3 cans of Friskies throughout the day. He eats before each shot and then I try to feed about two hours later. Then just tiny snacks here and there.

Also, he's in the blues right now which is crazy weird for PM. Hopefully we'll wake up to a good number.

I would get another test in around +6 to see if hes dropping lower.
