Yesterday Caber Yr 2 Day 292

She was in playpen overnight. Went some in the box and some on puppy pads. All dark brown/blood tinged. No more from Tux.

She is purring and eating but doesn't look like she feels well. She did take a gabapentin last night, first time in months she ate one. So she must be feeling bad. I'm going to get new litter today, some feliways (husband will not like it) more fluids and cerenia this afternoon. Dr said she isn't a candidate for the few meds that might help. I will have to find out more on that. Otherwise I don't know what to do for her.

Paula, I haven't been on here in a while. I'm so sorry to read about your dad! Prayers and :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:. I hope sweet Ollie is feeling better soon!

She really doesn't want me to go get her litter, food, feliways now does she.

I have some hc with honey but won't eat. Put some freeze dried on it, are some. Husband now home and put more freeze dry on top.

It could be she just isn't use to all these greens. She was normal this morning, cleaned her bowl, purring, begging for breakfast, jumping on her chair.

I might take another reducie (in addition to this mornings) tonight to break this, can always go back up in a few days.

much more going on with her we don't know about.

Ravan's BG was going down low a few weeks ago (I was actually thinking, Remission??? ) Yesterday I found blood drops all over & urine stained with blood. Somehow it seems the low BG is an indication that something is not right. I gave Ravan 1/2 teaspoon of D-Mannose in water, every few hours in a feeding syringe, yesterday & this morning,
Today no more blood ,so far. He did eat a little better but I can see he's still not feeling right. I'll continue to give him the D-Mannose today & every other day for a week. I hope it's just a UTI.

Always something to worry about with our Kitties!

Hope Olive starts feeling better soon. :):bighug:

Never thought of low bg for a problem. If that's the case, when whatever it is clear up Ollie will rocket to the moon with all these reducies.

Sooooo I got out to get cat supplies. 3 bags litter, 36 cans of food, 7 pouches (2 were free) of delectable squeeze up, 2 feliway starting kits and 1 double refill (25% off)........$283.00.

All I can say is this better help.

If the Feliways do work, I found them so much cheaper on line should you want to keep it up.

Sending healing vines for your sweet girl. :bighug:

I don't know what to do anymore. Not eating, lethargic. Ketones 0.4. Could it be the amlodipine? Seems okay in the morning then just goes downhill rest of day.

Oh my...I sure hope Ollie perks up soon. Poor baby...

Feel better Ollie!!! Sending you some hugs Paula...I think you sound like you need some...such a pooper of a week. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Paula I'm so sorry that Olive doesn't feel well, I sure hope you can figure out what's wrong. Have you taken her to the vet

At ER the other day. They did nothing. Bladder was empty. She wouldn't cooperate for BP.. They said her abdomen was very tender/painful. Had ultrasound on 7/6 which Dr said was basically normal. Pancreas was a mess.

Paula, I'm so sorry about Ollie still not feeling well. Sending hugs to you both and healing vines to Olive. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

I never had to give amlodipine. Maybe a question on Feline Heath or here to see if anyone else has experience.

Sending lots and lots of healing vines for dear Olive. I hope she'll be feeling better tomorrow.

Paula, please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of your father.
