CC has been throwing up water all day. I couldn't get her to eat more than a nibble. I don't think it's pancreatitis because she's lasting stretched out, but just something giving her a tummy ach.

I have some cerenia, 16 mg tablets that I'm hoping will calm down the belly and get her eating. ((She ate ok last night but nothing today.) She is 15ish lbs. Do you guys think I should give her 1/4/ 4 mg or 1/2 8 mg?

Hairball? When my civvie did that in February it was obstruction (hairball). He had emergency surgery. He was drinking but not eating. Acting fine. Then started projectile vomiting. If course at night in a weekend. He was in surgery within 10 hrs.

Best bet for dosing is to call your vet for advice.
All I can say on dosing is that my 5.5lb cats get 1/4 pill once a day. I have no idea if it is weight based.

Yikes I hope that's not it. If she is still eating nothing tomorrow I will for sure bring her in.

So u update this morning. Checked on her at 5am. She had not eaten anything I left overnight (I know it's bad but I left out Friskies chicken in gravy because I thought it would tempt her) at that point. Checked again at 6:30 and most of the bowl was empty. Now I have other cats so I can't be 100% sure it was her, but her blood glucose numbers were about 200 points higher than normal which tells me she MAY have been the one who are it. Just now at 7:30 I watched her eat about 1/3 of a can of steak frites. I was relieved to see her eat something.

Why do cats do this to us? "Oh I feel awful and it's the weekend, where's your wallet momma?"
I found a mystery lump in the basement, not from the litter but definitely organic. It could mean sitting in a plastic chair for 8 hours and two mortgage payments or it might be a piece of pizza Lewis snuck out of the green bin. Take a deep breath Janet. :bighug:

Ha ha

She ate about a little more than half a can. I asked the pharmacy to ask the vet for cerenia
