well, if you squint, kit started blue today. maybe we'll see some green later on.

I think with TR you hold the dose 10 cycles after first seeing green. Tomorrow morning is cycle 10. I think you would increase tomorrow night if you don't see more green tomorrow.

@carfurby - Carla, I don't think Kit is really "new" to numbers under 200. If the kitty is new to lower numbers the dose is held a bit longer -- 8 - 10 cycles. Kit has been at this dose for 12 cycles. Either way, it's time for an increase.

I think you're fine to increase. Since you already shot, increasing at AMPS is fine unless Kit surprises you tonight.

Good luck with the increase. As a general rule, we increase by 0.5 units when the total dose is over 5 units. Think of the increase as a percent of total dose. At 5 units, a 0.5 unit increase is 10 %. For a cat on 2.5 units, it only takes 0.25 units to be 10%. The only caveat is if a cat is seeing some nice green on the dose, then I might "fatten" the dose by 0.25 units.

and a surprise or action would be any green? or something reduction worthy like <50? or?

i'm not sure if the greens that kit has seen are considered nice, or not?
so is your recommendation that we go up by 0.5U or that we "fatten" the dose by 0.25 units for tomorrow AM?

You did see the 60's, which are pretty nice. ie. you don't want Kit much lower than that.

I think I would try the .50 since you can test as much as needed. As Wendyexplained it makes sense. By action I mean a green run or a drop to 60.

What you are doing at this point is also seeing how sensitive Kit is to increases. Some larger dose cats react to smaller changes, some don't. Think of it as an experiment.
