I've noticed Teal'c is still loosing weight. Of course not scientific just use the stand on scale pick up cat stand on scale. It looks like he has gone from 12lbs on 4/20 to 10lbs this week.

I decided to schedule a blood panel for him just to make sure he is ok besides the diabetes. Is there anything else I should ask them to check?

Thyroid issues can make them lose weight

I got online and it appears thyroid is one of the things checked. Is there anything that's not checked with the panel that I might consider?

They also want to do a curve while he is there, however I don't understand why.

If you will post the lab reports we can maybe suggest things. I'm really just figuring your cat isn't regulated yet. Feed him as much as he wants. Don't bother paying for a curve. Tell them you will do a curve at home and send them the numbers. Why pay for it.

You are right it probably is just being unregulated. I just want to make sure. I also agree with why pay for the vet stressed curve. Have made a paper copy of the SS to take with me.
