Started off pink, but already blue. I hope these blue days help him heal. I'm not quite sure how this all works in the body, but this has to feel good to him.

Nice to see blues again.

Small request - call me picky :p - could you change your signature so it says Spreadsheet, not Speadsheet. ;)

He's at 47 at +5 on an AT2 meter. He won't eat his gravy Friskies, but ate dry kitten chow. We have Karo syrup, honey, and a Glucose SOS for pets rapid recovery pen ready.

Ten minutes later he is at 77, 30 minutes he's at 83.

I'm sure it's the kitten chow, but hopefully he stays safe until he rises naturally. Of course we will be watching him.

I am surprised that 1.5 u took him to 47 on a pet meter. Do we reduce to 1 u or 1.25?

The Young Again feeding guidelines say the food change can cause loose stools. His have been very smelly today. I am thinking the food change has contributed, but I don't know to what extent.

That's a 0.25 unit reduction earned, so down to 1.25 units. Good luck with the new dose.

I've often heard that YA produces smelly stools.

Thanks. We are still up with him. At +6.5 he dropped back to 66 on the AT2, which is below the 68 take action. We gave him some Glucobalance dry with a bit of kitten chow. This is when I really wish he would eat wet food.
