Unless you have a very low pmps and coming down you should shoot. Post the pmps. If lower Yvan your previous test, stall. Don’t feed retest in 20 minutes. Post for help.
 
He came up a bit, but we've never had a drop like this. It is his first blue, then yellow #.

He is eating now, but also a little constipated again. He is in and out of the litter. Perpaps the lower # plus B vitamins stimulating his nerves?
 
Get a +2 and post. This is great that you are seeing lower numbers. Let’s seeTe next bg. I know it’s a little scary. When I first started Max on insulin I wasn’t testing at home. My vet had me go to his office around nadir a few times a week. When I saw 60 I knew I would need to get a meter. My vet encouraged me to test at home which I then did. You eventually want to see green numbers if you want Cosmo to go into remission. Not now but eventually. Remember normal numbers are 50-120. He will be fine and you can control things with food and karro or honey should it be necessary. I’m glad that you shot. Congrats.
 
Thanks! We had a remission kitty Elie who went OTJ in 2013, we just weren't thinking we had to worry about it tonight LOL. A good thing though! Cosmo is going for all the colors today. :cool:
 
+2 is 275. After a big meal at PMPS, maybe the insulin is still dropping him?

Fed again at +2. Don't want him to drop to fast again :nailbiting: DH will get up to test +6 and +9. Do you think we need additional tests tonight?

Just did a +3 and he came up. He seems to go high at night based on what I can see on his SS. You think we still need a +4 too?
 
Looks like he might be going to bounce from that lovely blue today. He’s not used to lower numbers anymore. I think you can go to sleep. Leave some food out for him to snack on

A bounce just in time for his vet appt. Tomorrow lol. We did fed him quite a bit at PMPS...hopefully no bounce.

It was nice to see him in the blues and yellows... That drop tho :nailbiting:

Sleepy time for this lady... Will post of anything happens at+6.
 
Woohoo! Blues!! :cool: I'm sure there's more of then in there now that he's on the low carb food.

Don't get a +6, unless you plan on getting up anyway. Take the opportunity to sleep.
