Strange that this week FaFa would hiss at me without clear source of stimuli. The few time she hissed is when I was with her and I am paying attention to other things. After she hissed I would pet her gently and see her reaction, sometimes she headbutt my hand sometimes she goes away'

Do anyone know why? I am thinking of it maybe the dental problem, or eating raw meat change her behavior

6/7/2020 UPDATE
After observing for one more week, I find she often open her month. I suspect it is due to she wants to breath in and out more air. It looks that she has a strange breathing pattern. She sometimes breath quickly, sometimes is normal, sometime have a forceful and strange pattern. Please see the video.

I hesitate to take her to the vet since it really stresses her out. I am thinking if changing to completely raw diet may contribute to this problem, any idea

Sorry that I was absent for last few days, something in my life stressed me out.
FaFa looks better now, her weight is closed to her normal now. I would like to get her to 7.5 lb.

Recently her breathing looks ok most of the time, however in my concept it is not perfect "slow breath in slow breath out" pattern.

Yes, 60% of ckd cats has hypertension. I guess FaFa may hava that. I am going to take her to vet on 22/7/2020 to have body check.

I play with FaFa everyday so I examine her health everyday. I found out that the combination of object resembles animal + boxs with holes + scratch board can let the cats to have extra fun.
What is very strange is it seems that 3 out of 4 of my cats hiss without clear reason. I think it must be related to the transition to raw meat. Any idea?

Hyperthyroidism can increase breathing too. Best to get a checkup.

My cats go through periods where they are tense with each other. I always have three feliway diffusers going to take the edge off. I can always tell when one runs out. Lol

Really? Is feliway good? I just ordered Feliway Classics spray with the intention to lower FaFa's stress when she go to the vet. It has been an issue for many years that the father cat PenPen beat FaFa (mother) and Tiger (daughter). I think this add stress to Tiger and FaFa and I was thinking if Feliway diffusers can help?
