OT: This week's photos!

Good morning!
Time sure goes by quickly these days! I hope everyone is staying well!

I continue to go out each day but the birds are harder to find now; they can hide too easily in the leaves and tall grasses. On the upside, there are lots of Great Blue Herons out now! The Green Herons that usually nest at Saunders Pond are there again but in a much more difficult location so I haven't actually seen them yet.

Grackles have taken over my backyard :mad::mad::mad::mad: and chase everything else away that try to land on my feeders. But my Blue Jay and Cardinals still come in for their peanuts daily; hoping to see baby Blue Jays and baby Cardinals soon!

This week's photos......a Red Fox, a Prothonotary Warbler, one of the Red-Tailed Hawk family fledglings, a Red-Headed Woodpecker, a Bobolink, a male & female Brown-Headed Cowbird, a Snapping Turtle, a Great Blue Heron, and a White-Tailed Deer Fawn!

Thank you for looking!!! Please stay safe!

Hi Judy, wonderful photos as always. Our birds are keeping a low profile in this heat and the squirrels and chipmunks have taken over the feeder (I only have 1 seed feeder out in summer; hummingbirds get their own feeder).
That's a great pic of the red fox.
Have a good week. Keep cool!
