Left the Novolin out over night

I forgot to put the Novolin back in the fridge last night. Sat out about 12 hours. Is it no good anymore? Supposed to give to Jasper in 30 min. Do I have to buy more?

It is fine. The manufacture says it is good for 42 days at room temperature after the via is punctured:
• After vials have been opened: Opened Novolin ® N vials can be stored at room temperature below 77°F (25°C). Do not refrigerate. Throw away all opened Novolin ® N vials after 42 days, even if they still have insulin left in them.

I have no ideas why they say do not refrigerate. Wen all refrigerate opened vials and pens.

Looked clear so put it back in fridge. I dosed him this morning, but husband is picking up a new bottle on way home. My cats stay in the garage at night and it was pretty warm in there. I called the pharmacy and they said to replace it. At least its cheap. Told him to get new strips and lancets as well.

N insulin is a suspension, After shaken it is cloudy. If you let it sit still, the particles sinnk to the bottom and the liquid above is clear.

Yes. I meant I didn't see anything floating or any clumps. When you roll it, it becomes cloudy before giving.
