6/20 Chandler - AMPS stall RT +12.5 109, +1 95, +2 78, +3 75, +4 63, +5 81, +6 107, +9 145

Do I skip this dose, give a lesser dose, or feed & shoot the same dose & monitor???

Have shot low blue before (PMPS retest after green), but was a reduced dose (by a full unit) & then he dropped so I ended up having to give MC food. But this time it was low blue, stalled for 20 min then was green, so dropped - not sure what to do.

UPDATE - stalled & tested again at +12.5 & it had gone back up a bit to 109. Fed & gave usual dose (7:15 EST). Will monitor closely today.

Make sure you get some early tests in. Not sure where you are up to In the cycle now but I would test the BG now to make sure it hasn’t dropped

Just tested at +1 & it was 95

Gave 1.5 tsp MC (12%) food at +2.25

Nice job steering the curve. I'd keep getting spot checks the way you've been doing so Chandler doesn't throw you a surprise!

Just tested again at +4 & was down to 63, so gave some additional MC (15%) food & will keep testing every hour

Because you're coming close to nadir, how about testing in 30 min? If you don't have lots of data reflecting how Chandler reacts to low numbers, I'm a fan of closely monitoring so you have the space to intervene (vs. being in a panic).

I like to review what I fed and when during the cycle so when this happens in the future- you have a blueprint for what worked so well !

Awesome cycle today! And great job on keeping Chandler steady. Great SS notes on what you fed too.

For future reference, that little drop you saw around preshot could have been a Lantus double dip. Some cats will do a second mini curve at the end of the cycle where they drop a bit, but not as low as the main nadir. It's fine to shoot a double dip.
