I like to wait until I get the 1st test after the shot to post.
You almost don't want to look at the meter to see what number is staring back at you. Especially with this guy. Never know what number I'll get. High or low ??

How can you tell the difference between a failed reduction and a bounce ?

Yay Claudio!! Bring on the greens! :D But no Deep Sea Diving, please. Check him soon to see if he keeps dropping, and then you may want to feed some LC/mc mix to keep him out of the limes.

In my experience, and one and only failed reduction (so far) The difference between the bounce and fail was: high blues and yellows directly after the lows/earned reduction (bounce) and then a surf of blue/green (after about 2-4 cycles), and then staying in the higher blues and yellows after 2- 4 cycles (fail) no greens. :)

I vary the times I test. Except for the +1 and the +11. Really don't see the point in them. Unless he's deep sea diving. Then I will do them.
Otherwise I test at 2,5,8 on one day.
Next day at 3,6,9.
Following day at 4,7,10.
That way I am mostly filling in the "pieces of the puzzle".
But obviously gotta test again soon.

Good strategy!!

Gotta give credit to Chris & China.
When I asked about testing times, she was the person who suggested what times I should test.
