Yesterday. Caber Yr 2 Day 255

Well at least its not pink. 2 more days on this dose to see if she will start working it. If not up we go again. Last 2 times on 5.25 proved to much. So hope I don't have to split the dose. That's challenging in the morning when half asleep even with calipers.

Trippers ears still doing good, although husband is feeding her more canned food. I know it's easier but really, does he want her itchy with shredded ears...did I say what her allergies were. The highest ones were maple and birch trees. The lowest were the normal hayfever stuff, ragweed, pollen etc. In the food were pork and soybean even lower than the trees. Oh and fleas she's allergic to.

Tux is rambunctious today, getting into everything.

PJ just sitting in the sun watching the world.

We have a swarm of dragonflies today around the deck. Never seen this many before. They are all over. Hopefully they are eating up the gnats.

Have to water the veggies and flowers today.

Be safe one and all.

Nice slide today. I hope the extra food doesn't bother Tripper's ears. Glad Tux and PJ are doing well. Cool on the dragonflies.

Just got call from vet, the ua is no change from last one. Finally ultrasound is scheduled for 7/6 the earliest she has where the office isn't to busy. Dr doesn't want Ollie there on a busy day. She doesn't want to sedate her, Ollie is usually pretty cooperative during all her exams, echoes and xrays so she is hoping Ollie will be the same for this one. A bonus is another Dr will be in that day who is IM and Ollie's vet wants to have her on Ollie's case also, as "she's a complex kitty". I don't know if this other vet is permanent to the practice of not.

And speaking of Ollie, she has been taking to sleeping on the couch instead of the chair.

It looks like Ollie had a nice blue day today!! Stay on the beach Ollie!! Glad you have an ultrasound scheduled, that's a relief.
It sounds like everyone else is well also, that fantastic about Trips ears. :bighug:

Just got ua report. Posted on ss. I see the protein is higher than it was.

I did mention Ollie's blood pressure hasn't been checked since she started the cabergoline. They will do at us.

I hope things get figure out with Miss Ollie. The other kids sound like they're enjoying the view (dragonflies?) wow!

Have a good evening Paula!

Good to hear the u/s is finally scheduled and an IM Vet will be around for a consult. Neko’s IM was really good for the complicated combinations of issues. I would keep an eye on the protein and you may need a urine protein creatinine ration done at some point. Proteinuria is not uncommon with acros, it was on Neko’s list.

Sounds like a good day for cats, and Paula in the garden.

She's always had 1+ protein. Benazepril suppose to help with that according to Tanya site. She's been on that since March 2018.

At one point I had to up the benazapril dose. Just a one off test isn't as meaningful, just keep an eye if it's a trend. Cysto also a better catch method for getting a good read.
