6/17: Nova-amps 201; +5.5 177; pmps 156, +4 263

Move it Nova. You know you're not supposed to be up that high. Be a good girl and come down now.
I think these failed reductions are contagious. My boy has the same problem.

Maybe he'll listen to you since he isn't listening to me.
Maybe you'll get lucky and Nova will come down for you before the weekend. Fingers/paws crossed.
You notice no one ever mentions all the frustrations that come with feline diabetes.
Especially when their numbers bobble up and down.

I seriously doubt it. She, or her pancreas, is being a total Beeeacth. For the fat dose, I go just to the line, not at the top, and no extra showing, like for the .25. So, from .25 area, I would go just touching/above the .5 mark. And, you're right, the frustrations are really only noticeable with the true newbies (boy oh boy did I ever vent here in the beginning), us middle of the liners gotta suck it up cuz we know our babies could go either way. I hope Claudio listens to me too. For what it's worth, and I know this is crazy, tell Claudio loud and clear and post it publicly. They seem to want to defy us that way....:p:p, but I think Nova is catching on to my tricks. (sometimes reverse psychology works with cats as well as children )

Anyway, while I was lurking, I read that you don't want them to get used to the high blues, and/or yellows, sometimes you gotta bump them up to mean business. I feel ya....I was and am sometimes still wanting to keep her where she's at, but as well meaning as that is...sometimes it just doesn't work until they get lower. Now, Nova is there and the early total newbie frustration sets in, again. The perfect dose and feeding schedule is there...somewhere!

Hang in there! :bighug::bighug: We have to remember to be grateful as well....our babies are still with us. <3

I don't think I want to wait until the weekend to up the dose. It's gonna be a small one, but tomorrow it is. AND, I might just sleep thru the +6 feeding....if they'll let me.
