I am currently using U-40 1/2cc 29 gauge 12.7 mm syringe that only has the marking for each unit (no half markings). I will be switching food to low carb and will need to adjust the insulin. I have found ones with half unit marking but if the dose needs to be increased by .25 do you just eyeball it or are there ones with quarter markings.

Thanks

Hi Julie :) Can i ask where you've found your syringes with half markings and what brand they are? I am currently buying mine from my vet (Prozinc brand syringes), they cost 6$CAD for 10 and i am looking for a cheaper option.

Thanks

Hi, I am currently using the Ulticare brand. I haven't purchased them yet but I am going to get them from chewy.com. They have 100 count for $ 18 USD

Amazon also has 100 syringes with the sharps container for $32 USD.

I have seen recommendation for these:
https://www.countrysidepet.com/prod...nges-pack-of-100?_pos=94&_sid=b8b2f3412&_ss=r
form countryside pet supply but since I have only been doing this for a month I wanted to stick with what I am used to.

Hope this helps :)
