Started BG Testing Today for Aries

Hi All,
I just got started today with testing Aries BG at home! Yayy!! I have navigated though and started her spreadsheet, which I think I attached to my signature (hopefully). Just wanted to make sure I'm doing it correctly. If anyone has any tips that would be much appriciated!

Good job on the spreadsheet but could you do without the Time column? The formatting is going to always turn that lime green which is the color we look for when looking for hypoglycemic numbers so it's kind of distracting.

We don't need to know what time you shoot....just you do! We all think in "+ hours" here anyway. (you will too soon.....wait until the first time you look at the clock and instead of thinking "it's 2pm", the first thing that pops in your brain is "it's +7".....LOL)

I wasn’t sure if that was important. Can’t wait until my brain switched over and knows all the terminology.

I research for awhile today to figure out what 05/28 was on the glucose monitor. Finally came to the conclusion that it was today’s date *face palm

You're not the first person to do that and won't be the last! At least you figured out how to set the date on your meter!!...LOL

I just did her PMPS and it was 279. When I tested her at +7 it was 276 so its only gone up by 3! Should I still give her 1 unit dose?

Sorry you didn't get an answer sooner.....Yes, give the 1U

As long as the Pre-shot is over 200, give the scheduled dose. When you gather a little more data and experience, you'll drop that to 150 (and gradually, you'll lower it even more)

If the PS is under 200 (or 150 later) you want to stall, don't feed and test again in 20-30 minutes. Use that time to post with a very clear subject line like "STALLING! NEED HELP!"..LOL Something that will grab someone's attention. Once you have that, you can edit and change it.
