5/25: Nova-amps 235-bounce or fail?; pmps 64

Not only is there a bounce from the 54, you didn't take a reduction after the 45 on 5/23. (There could be some debate given you reduced the after the drop into the 30s the previous day.)

Also, with TR, if you're seeing nadirs below 200, you want to hold the dose for 5 days/10 cycles.

From the Dosing Methods sticky:
Increasing the dose:

  • Hold the dose for 3 - 5 days (6 - 10 consecutive cycles) if nadirs are less than 200 before increasing the dose by 0.25 unit.
    • if your cat is new to numbers under 200, it is recommended to hold the dose for at least 8-10 cycles before increasing.
    • when your cat starts to see nadirs under 100, hold the dose for at least 10 cycles before increasing.
  • Increase by 0.25 unit after 3 days (6 consecutive cycles) if nadirs are greater than 200, but less than 300.
  • Increase by 0.5 unit after 3 days (6 consecutive cycles) if nadirs are greater than 300.
Nova isn't new to lower numbers. You may want to hold the dose a bit longer.

Thank you! I MUST remember to revisit this reminder more often, as well as the reduce info.

You've gotten some excellent advice! I know it's a lot to remember...just make a couple of notes and stick them on the fridge - reducing when needed is very important...

Hang in there!

As Sue said, there's a lot to remember! I put notes on the fridge AND I added the Increase and Reduction main points at the top of my SS, so I see the guidelines I'm following all the time! You're doing very good!
