Under "What is Regulation?" is says - There may also be an extra category of "mostly above 300 (16.7) but with good clinical signs" which occurs with some cats who are getting insulin. We don't know why it happens, but such a cat probably should not be considered to be regulated.
I'm concerned that this might be my Lou....and if it is what does that mean for his neuropothy?? The pill can only do so much to help and everything I read says that the only way for him to heal and get better is to get his BG under control but he is just holding steady at 2.25U with a high AMPS and PMPS and really good naders. There is nothing for me to adjust or change to help him. My patience pants are getting too tight and cutting off circulation watching him struggle to walk comfortably and having to ask to be picked up to get on the table to eat because he can't even get up on the low chair.
Is it possible that this is just as good as his diabetic journey could get? Or is this the stage where his pancreas is trying to heal and he could still get better? Can someone lay it out for me? I need to know if there is chance he is going to get better or if I need to work on being ok with how he is now....or if I need to be ready for worse. I just need the info please.
