They are finally done with our street, the street across the tracks and the other street by me. I said to one of the guys so you are finished, he said we just have to come back next week for about 1 hour, I said it better be only 1 hour

In a few weeks they will be going to all the streets they have finished and will have to go in everyones basements and replace the gas meters, shut the gas off in all the apartments and tie in the new meters to the new gas line, said it might take about 3 hours. Just not my place everyone in town ,

They want to put the gas meters outside on the house, Take them out of the basement, I said well I'll give you the number of my landlord and you tell him about when the time comes
Will just have to leave when people cut their lawns, my neighbors are so anal , they have to get every blade of grass even, one time I said to one of them. Would you like me to get you a measuring tape lol

Oh those poor construction guys!! :joyful: I can just see you out there looking at your watch and tapping your foot!! They better finish within an hour if they know what's good for them! Don't mess with a mama bear when it comes to protecting her cubs!! :eek:

You are absolutely right, I go out there and give them the evil eye, I have a hot Italian temper plus living in Jersey doesn't help lol
