Morning,

Still up in the pinks. Does anybody feed raw/combination raw/cooked? I was reading up a bit on it. I'm just wondering if that is the key for Jonesy? No question, he's still way overweight. He's not losing weight on the wet food.

He gets two cans of FF of "his own" each day, then he also tends to finish up the other cats' bowls. So in total, he gets about 3 1/2 tins of FF total? He used to LOVE cooked chicken, now he kinda snubs it.

Off topic, I'd been waiting to get the call about my bunion surgery to be rescheduled. I was called a couple days ago and they could take me in two weeks. Honestly? I kind of panicked and asked her to put me on the list for June sometime.

I'll be off work for four months, PLUS, the first six weeks will be ZERO weight bearing on my right foot. I'm seriously stressing out over how I'm going to manage to keep the cats apart, how I'm going to take care of myself AND the cats properly. I know my best friend will do her very best to help out, and my brother will help, (when he's not out at the lake) . . . ugh . . . just venting.

I told my boss, and this is very true, but not 100% of the reason that I asked to postpone it, but that the store NEEDS to get some cash flow going and that I want to get some sales in before I'm away for that length of time.

Anyway, sorry for rambling. I hope everyone is well! ;)

I hope everything works out with your surgery. Sometimes the "thinking" part can be more stressful than the actual procedure.
I sure hope so ;) No joke, I'm MUCH less worried about the actual procedure, and that I'll be off work for four months (I'll get short term disability through my insurance); than the fact I've been told ZERO weight bearing on that foot for six weeks. That means trying to figure out the doors, locking in cats behind one door, while I try to get through the other, oh, while on crutches and with a tray of wet cat food in my hand. WHAT could go wrong?! LOL

I hope Jonesy slides down today. I hope things will be more settled before you have the surgery. Did the Jackson Galaxy stuff every arrive?
It literally just arrived today, but I have to pay duty on it so I have to pick it up at the post office. But I'll have it within a few days, praying that's magical stuff!
