Hi again!

Thoughts if high fiber is more important then high protein for a diabetic cat? We were on a high protein diet on wet food, that didn't seem to work. We switched it up to higher fiber, this still doesn't seem to make a difference for weight gain.

Thanks

Cindy

Neither. More calories is what is needed to get your cat to gain weight.
Higher protein is needed, to build back muscle mass. Not necessarily to gain weight.

Name the food if you would please.

Also, you need to get the diabetes regulated, to get the food a cat is eating to be properly absorbed by their body.
