Bijoux's PMPS is way lower than I'm comfortable shooting tonight, going to wait a little bit and test again but may skip tonights dose.

Yeah I think so! I’m going to be preaching it from the rooftops - I honestly had no idea the dry food was so carb dense.

I just tested her again and she’s at 119 so I don’t think I’m going to give the shot at this point. Shes been a little funky today (we went to vet yesterday and she got a new freestyle libre) so Im going to leave her be for the night to rest.

Hi. I’m going to make a suggestion that you can ask your vet or others here about. Lantus works best when give twice a day for most cats. I’m going to suggest that you reduce to .25 and see if you feel comfortable dosing each cycle.

Actually a reduction was earned with the nadir if 85 yesterday so the. So the new dose is .25.

Thank you! That makes sense, I gave what I think is .25 tonight (hard to eyeball even on the half unit syringes!) and will check her in a bit to see how we’re doing. So tomorrow would also be .25u each cycle?
 
Yes. Stick with .25 for a week unless a bg under 90. Ordinarily you would then do a curve but since she’s got the implanted one there’s no need. You will know if she drops. Don’t want to get your hopes up but I have a feeling she will become diet controlled soon.

I'm glad you were able to get another freestyle libre. It's amazing to see all the numbers on Bijoux's chart, you can really see how she's doing.

I'm excited that her numbers are so good. I didn't realize you had switched from dry to wet food. We've been working on that, and it's surprising what a difference it makes.
